Good news: 2020 yearbooks are in!
That’s right, the school year that was cut short due to the pandemic still has valuable memories etched in print.
If you pre-ordered a yearbook for the 2019-2020 school year, the Yearbook Committee has your copy reserved for you.
Where do I pick up my 2020 yearbook?
Graduates: Starting next week, you will be assigned a date by our Office Admin (based on alpha-order) to come to the school and pick up your pre-paid copy.
Current Students: Our wonderful Office Administrator will be distributing copies of your pre-paid yearbooks via the side window outside the Main Office. Pick-up will be after your morning classes starting at 12:30pm.
What if I didn’t pre-order a yearbook?
If you still would like a copy of the 50th anniversary edition of the 2020 Stephen Leacock yearbook, we’ll begin selling any leftover inventory in November. The cost is $30.
What if I want to make sure I get a copy of the 2020-2021 yearbook to remember this “unconventional” year?
You can pre-order with the main office, or purchase online (coming soon).
Wait a minute: How can you have a yearbook during a pandemic when half the students are doing virtual classes and there aren’t any events?
Ahh… well that’s the power of technology. Just because we’re socially distancing, in virtual school, or don’t have as many extra-curricular events to enjoy right now, it doesn’t mean that we can’t commemorate this unique year.
Trust us: there will be a lot of content for you to peruse in the 2021 book, because it will focus on your stories and lived experiences during this unprecedented year.
Capturing memories have never been so important as it is now. This is history in the making. It will be a unique year, for sure, and we’ll be encouraging you to share your stories.
This will be a special edition of the yearbook, so take advantage and be part of history, while helping to provide a sense of normalcy for everyone.
