School Council Chair – Afroz (Rose) Desai –
We are very happy to announce our School Council Chair for this school year. Congratulations and thanks goes out to Afroz (Rose) Desai. I have had the opportunity to meet Afroz and I am very excited that she will be taking on this position. She already has many great ideas for School Council and we will be moving forward with them very shortly. She can be reached at and is open to hearing from our parents/guardians with suggestions, questions, concerns and/or anything that you feel would make Leacock and our community an even better place. Afroz is also fluent in Hindi and Urdu languages, volunteers as a fire warden, in addition to doing other volunteer work in her community. She is very passionate with children and really enjoys helping them. We look forward to working with Afroz in this capacity.
