Through our virtual workshops, participants are led through fun skilled trade and tech-related workshops, demonstrations, virtual tours, speakers and presentations. Sessions are led by Skills Ontario staff and volunteers/partners via Zoom.
Virtual workshops are open to all ages, however, are typically suited to grades 7, 8, and 9, unless otherwise noted. Please reference the event details for more information on the difficulty level for each event. Parent/guardian supervision is strongly recommended for all our virtual sessions.
Spaces are limited. Each participant should register individually and complete a separate registration request for each event. Registration confirmations will be emailed to participants within 2 business days of the registration request. Event links will be emailed to all attendees the Friday before the event. Participants should register for all spaces by by March 10th, 2022, in order to guarantee that the registration request is received in time. Registration requests received past this date are not guaranteed to be reviewed in time for the event date. All virtual workshops are currently free, unless otherwise noted on the registration details.
All participants are required to follow Skills Ontario’s Code of Conduct and are encouraged to complete the Virtual Workshop Safety Checklist before each event.
