Stephen Leacock Collegiate Institute is now a Certiport Authorized Testing Centre! In this changing world there is often competition for jobs, especially in the technology sector. The value of certification includes increased marketability, earning power, validation of knowledge and respect from peers. These are great advantages to potential job candidates.
For high school students who get certified, research has shown that they have a higher grade point average as well as higher graduation rates.
